{"id":335,"date":"2015-11-18T09:00:38","date_gmt":"2015-11-18T09:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.myschoolyear.com\/blog\/?p=335"},"modified":"2016-06-01T15:40:07","modified_gmt":"2016-06-01T15:40:07","slug":"sweet-vanilla-cinnamon-pumpkin-seeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myschoolyear.com\/blog\/sweet-vanilla-cinnamon-pumpkin-seeds\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><u>Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds<\/u><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups pumpkin seeds, rinsed and dried<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>3 1\/2 teaspoons vanilla sugar, divided<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, divided<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon white sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 275 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Place seeds in a mixing bowl. Pour melted butter over seeds; stir to coat. Combine 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1\/2 teaspoon white sugar in a small bowl. Mix well. Stir in vanilla extract. Spread sugar mixture over seeds, stirring to coat evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Spread seeds over a baking sheet in a single layer. Combine 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Bake seeds in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove baking sheet from oven, stir seeds, and spread evenly on baking sheet again. Combine 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in small bowl and sprinkle over seeds. Return seeds to oven for 30 more minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove seeds from oven. Sprinkle remaining 1\/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar over seeds, and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
