Grades: Edit Percentages on View Grades<\/h2>\n

What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0When viewing Grades, you now have the option to update the\u00a0% of Grade<\/strong> value without having to edit class details.<\/p>\n

How it works. <\/strong>Go to the\u00a0Grades<\/em>\u00a0page. All grade type records now have ability to change the grade percentage. Enter in a percentage for each of the Grade Types, and then click Save<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Please note that if the screen is being filtered by a particular grade type, this option is not available. You must select View\u00a0<\/em>Grades<\/em> from the class list or the\u00a0View Grades<\/em> button on the Edit Class Details screen to enable this new feature.<\/p>\n

Change Grade Type Percentages<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

What is this for?<\/strong>\u00a0Many members wish to change the grading percentages to make general adjustments and to try “what-if” scenarios. This feature allows those users to quickly update and manage the class’ scoring system.<\/p>\n

Calendar: Color Based Classes<\/h2>\n

What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0Classes can now be configured to have a particular color. Then, when the Calendar displays classes (or lessons), you can toggle between the Student’s color and the Class’ color.<\/p>\n

How it works. <\/strong>Go to My Homeschool > Calendar<\/em>. Select the Classes\u00a0<\/strong>option next to\u00a0Colors.\u00a0<\/strong>Classes and lessons will now appear in the assigned color of the class.\u00a0By default, a random color is assigned to a class, but can be changed by going to\u00a0Edit Class Details<\/em> from the Class view. Non-class “types” become a neutral\/generic color.<\/p>\n

Color Coded Classes on Calendar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

What is this for?<\/strong>\u00a0Some members prefer schedules and agendas displayed visually by classes and not students. This feature allows users to toggle the display color grouping.<\/p>\n

Class List: Grade Display by Color Coding<\/h2>\n

What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0The Class List now displays with more visual context the student’s performance for a given class.<\/p>\n
