A new <strong>Download<\/strong> button should be at the top by other Lesson action buttons. Also, this format allows for easier transferring and archiving of lessons outside of the My School Year application.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Calendar: Display Classes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0The Calendar now displays students&#8217; classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works. <\/strong>Go to <em>My Homeschool &gt; Calendar<\/em>. Select the <strong>Classes\u00a0<\/strong>option next to\u00a0<strong>Types.\u00a0<\/strong>Classes will now appear in the any of the Calendar\u00a0views.\u00a0By default, the <strong>Classes\u00a0<\/strong>option is not selected while the\u00a0<strong>Lessons\u00a0<\/strong>option is. This keeps the calendar &#8220;cleaner&#8221; and less likely to cause confusion between &#8220;class&#8221; and &#8220;lesson&#8221; type entries. Clicking on the class name will display the Class Details screen.<\/p>\n<p>Also, for student logins, if the student is allowed to view Lessons (see\u00a0<em>My Homeschool &gt; Setup &gt; Students<\/em>), then the student can view class and class times on the calendar. The class option also allows you to view placeholder classes that might be from a co-op, community college, and\/or other types of classes (e.g. chores, daily sports\/music practice, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Account Settings: Time Zone<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0Your account settings now has an option to set your local timezone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works. <\/strong>Go to <em>My Account &gt; Settings<\/em>. Select your local time zone and select <em>Save<\/em>. When the daily and weekly lesson plan reminder emails are processed, the system will adjust the timing appropriately so that you receive your emails on a timely basis. The time zone setting will now account for this time disparity and send the appropriate daily\/weekly email information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Account Settings: Weekly Email Day of Week<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What is it?<\/strong>\u00a0Your account settings now has an option to select which day of the week you wish to receive your weekly email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How it works.\u00a0<\/strong>Go to <em>My Homeschool &gt; My Account &gt; Settings<\/em>. By allowing each member to customize their weekly email, members can better organize their time and school.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"font-headlines\">System Adjustments<\/h2>\n<p>In every software system in the world, the need to make tweaks\u00a0will always exist. Since some of you may have encountered these \u201cun-documented features\u201d (e.g. bugs), here is a list of items corrected.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When emails failed to send, the system did not retry to send out and thus some members missed their lessons while others received it. The system now attempts to retry multiple times before failing.
